René Descartes — the thinker
Philosophers like Socrates and Friedrich Nietzsche revolutionized how we thought about the world. But they were all based on personal views. This was not the case with René Descartes. Instead, Descartes came up with his view solely based on facts. Thus, he made significant contributions to mathematics, science and philosophy.
